Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is RTA?
    RTA stands for Ready To Assemble. Cabinets will arrive flat packed in boxes and will be required to be put together on site.
  • Can I get my cabinets assembled?
    Yes! We now offer assembly for cabinets that are being delivered to New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. Assembly costs are $25 per cabinet. If your cabinets are being delivered to this tristate area and you would like to receive your cabinets assembled as opposed to RTA, write a note in the message box at check out requesting for assembly. An invoice will be emailed to you for the assembly costs. All payments must be made in full before the order can be processed. Please note that receiving the cabinets assembled will add additional lead time.
  • Do the cabinets have a warranty?
    Yes. Cabinets with a stain have a 5 year manufacturer limited warranty. Cabinets with paint have a 2 year manufacturer limited warranty. Email sales@dealdirectcabinets for full warranty details.
  • How do I clean my cabinets?
    Kitchen cabinets should be dusted or cleaned periodically like any wood furniture. Clean all spills or water immediately. Wood cabinets should be kept dry. Dust cabinets with a pre-moistened or damp cloth. Follow the grain of the wood when dusting. Wiping across the grain can cause scratches. Use only clean, soft cloths. Do not use dishtowels as they can contain grease. Mild detergents and warm water or wood polishes can be used for cleaning cabinets. If using a furniture care product, use polish and avoid silicone or wax products. Dry immediately after cleaning.
  • Do the cabinets have a matching finished interior?
    Yes. The inside of the cabinets are finished to match color of the door.
  • Are the sides of the cabinets finished with a matching color?
    Yes, the sides of the cabinets are finished to match the color of the door. There is no need to purchase a panel to finish the ends. For a more decorative finish on open end cabinets, you may order a decorative end panel which features the style of the door.
  • Are knobs or handles included with the cabinets?
    Knobs and handles are not included with the cabinets. Cabinet doors do not arrive predrilled for hardware.
  • How long does it take to receive the cabinets?
    It typically takes 14-21 business days to receive your order. In the event of out-of-stock items, we will inform you of the estimated restocking date. If this is the case, you may also consider a reasonable design alternative of in stock items.
  • How are the cabinets shipped?
    All cabinets are shipped by freight and are delivered as CURBSIDE DELIVERY only. Delivery drivers will not carry cabinets inside. Please make sure that there are multiple hands available on delivery day to help carry cabinets inside. Smaller packages are sent via FedEx or UPS. Orders will not ship from the warehouse until Deal Direct Cabinets LLC receives payment in full.
  • What is the return policy?
    Unopened items in original packaging can be returned within 14 days of receiving the order. A return authorization must be approved prior to returning any products. Customer is responsible for return shipping costs. A refund will be issued after inspection of the item(s) less 35% restocking fee. Email for return authorization requests. Sample doors are final sale and not eligible for return.
  • What do I do if cabinets arrive damaged?
    Should any damages be visible when the delivery arrives, immediately take pictures of the damages and make a note of it on the packing slip. Most importantly, have the driver sign off on the form. All pictures of shipping damages must be taken PRIOR to cabinet assembly and installation. Submit all pictures along with a copy of the packing slip to Once documentation is received, we will begin the process of issuing replacement parts. All shipping damage claims must be submitted within 5 business days of receiving the delivery.
